Fire Awareness Training:

We have several packages of fire safety training to cover all of your statutory requirements, they include some or all of the following components to meet your specific needs...

  • Scenarios about fire in your premises,

  • Fire - How It Works,

  • Fire - It can happen to you!,

  • Video: ‘The Front Room Fire’,

  • Detection and Prevention,

  • Escape Planning and Evacuation,

  • Classes of Fire & Fire Extinguishers,

  • Risk Assessment and Practical Use of Extinguishers,

  • Fire and Evacuation drills. 

Our training packages are created for each individual business covering aspects particular to your staff and business needs. Our packages start with a basic fire awareness pack lasting approximately 1 hour per session for up to 20 participants, our advanced package is approximately 3 hours long and will cater for up to 20 participants. This pack involves fire and evacuation scenarios and drills which can be recorded separately in your Fire Safety Log Book.

HPS have now developed shift leader training covering aspects of human behaviour, escape and evacuation, staff management etc. This training is ideal for those members of your staff for whom you would like to have additional fire safety responsibilities. They may well be the staff who would be in control of evacuation should a fire occur.
